Becoming a member of the Interessengemeinschaft der Bahnspediteure (IBS), e.V. There are two possible services in european railway transprtation.
According to our articles, companys who are involved in the railway transportation business, mostly for third parties, and who hold out a seperate structure of organisation, can become members of the plenum of the IBS. Persons, firms and companys can become associated members, if they support the purposes and targets of the association. In the case of acceptance - as a member of the plenum or as associated member - the following obligations of yours would be necessary: accept the articles of association
Associated members can be taken in immediately by a resolution of the board. Active members will be voted in the next meeting of the plenum. The support of the objective targets of our association, the reinforcement of the position of railways, is assumed to be taken for granted. Among others, all members have the possibility to be an active part of the workgroups of the IBS. They can also participate at the IBS meetings that take place twice a year.
