Objectives
- Improvement of the framework conditions for the forwarding, commercial, and logistical use of European rail freight transport
- Representation of the interests of users and organizers of single wagonload rail freight transport in Europe
Strategic Priorities
- Influencing decisions in European transport policy
- Supporting a Europe-wide, harmonized liberalization of the rail freight market
- Promoting uniform, competitive framework conditions for the rail transport system
- Enhancing the quality of rail freight transport and increasing its competitiveness compared to road freight transport
- Measures to maintain and expand access points to the rail network (railports / sidings / loading facilities), particularly along the Rail Freight Corridors
- Exercising the commercial ordering function for European rail freight transport in close cooperation with UIRR
- Cooperation with other organizations and associations pursuing similar objectives
