This year’s IBS Congress took place in Vienna on 23 and 24 June 2022 in beautiful weather.
We would like to thank all participants and speakers for the exciting exchange.
After an exciting workshop with interesting speakers on the topic: “Where to in Global Sourcing? Is Just-in-Time still up-to-date and what opportunities are there for the railways?”, we took a oldtimer tram to a wine tavern on 23 June. There we ended the evening with a fine dinner. The next day we continued in the morning with the general meeting. After a few association votes, we focused on the topic of Multimodal Freight Transport in Europe and our new members introduced themselves. After an extensive lunch, we went to the Prater. Finally, the congress was rounded off with a visit to the Spanish Riding School. It was two exciting days with many opportunities for exchange between the participants.
We are looking forward to the next congress in 2023.
